Well Done Miss Daisy Amorkor Amarteifio
Tuesday found me at Leicester, specifically at De Montfort Hall, with Ewurabena, my other niece Fran and Cousin Larteley. We were there to help Daisy (my niece) celebrate her graduation day.
It all seems like yesterday, when daisy’s Mum was over here from Ghana on a visit. The first time I met Daisy was when her Mum asked me if I could pick up he daughter from London.
Since our first encounter, many years ago, we have struck up a very good relationship. Daisy, decided that she wanted to study Law, and although the going has not been easy, I have admired her for her determination and courage to pursue her goal of becoming a Lawyer one day.
I personally know that it has not been easy for her, especially when you have to juggle between studying and working two jobs just to get money coming in to fund your university education.
Well Daisy, apart from getting a 2.1, you have not only proved to yourself that you are capable of achieving your goal(s).
Well done Daisy, I/we are extremely proud of you.
